Scholarship Application Support for Students in Ontario

Maple Study Link helps Ontario high school and postsecondary students organize scholarship applications. Support can include finding suitable opportunities, checking eligibility and deadlines, and preparing resumes, essays and interviews. Awards are decided by each scholarship provider; Maple Study Link does not guarantee a scholarship or a particular result.

Who is scholarship application support for?

This service is intended for students who want a structured process for researching and preparing applications, including Grade 12 students planning for postsecondary study and students already attending college or university. The right opportunities depend on the student's institution, program, citizenship or residency status, academic record, activities and the scholarship's own rules.

How does Maple Study Link help students find suitable scholarships?

Subject to the selected plan and written consent, Maple Study Link may help with:

  • building a shortlist from official institution, government and scholarship-provider sources;

  • recording who can apply, required documents and the submission route;

  • checking whether the student applies directly or an institution must apply;

  • creating a deadline and document tracker; and

  • removing opportunities that do not match the student's current profile.

EduCanada's scholarship guidance confirms that eligibility, language rules, application processes and deadlines vary by program. Students must use the current program page as the final authority.

What application materials can a student prepare?

Depending on the scholarship, a student may need a resume or activity list, essays or personal statements, references, transcripts and other supporting documents. Maple Study Link may provide one-to-one resume review, essay guidance and interview practice when these services are confirmed in the student's plan.

The student remains responsible for truthful authorship, accurate information and on-time submission. Maple Study Link will not invent activities, rewrite a student's history, or promise that an application will be selected.

When should scholarship planning start?

Start early enough to verify eligibility, gather official records, request references and revise student-authored material before the deadline. There is no single application season for every award. A practical first step is to create a calendar from the current rules for each shortlisted scholarship.
